In 1987, the two Rotary Clubs in Livermore jointly established the Rotarian Foundation of Livermore, focused on youth, service, and creating opportunities in the Livermore Valley where we work and live.
The goal of the Foundation is to create opportunities for Livermore organizations that enrich our lives and build our community. With a focus on youth, we support projects which have the greatest impact per dollar spent by helping start up exciting new programs, supporting proven good ideas, and developing strong institutions and community resources. We are building the future here today.
Since its establishment as a tax exempt qualified charitable fund in 1987, the Foundation has grown its corpus to over $1,000,000., which will allow us to support major projects in Livermore over many years. Through contributions, fund-raisers, corporate sponsorships, bequests, and professionally managed investments for long-term sustainability, we will be able to continue our support to organizations serving our community into the future.
Vision Statement: Striving to sustainably improve the quality of life for all Livermore Valley residents. Mission Statement: The Rotarian Foundation of Livermore awards grants on an annual basis that unleash the creativity, dedication, and spirit of our local community, and underwrites Rotary projects that will leave a lasting positive impact on the Livermore Valley.
The Rotarian Foundation of Livermore is a 501(c)(3) charity with tax ID #94-3038645.
