CALICO Child Abuse Intervention Project Title: Livermore Child Abuse Intervention ProjectWe are requesting a grant to provide a skilled, multi-disciplinary response toLivermore toddlers, children and adolescents who suffer sexual or physical abuse or other harm. Through the Livermore Child Abuse Intervention Project, CALICO aims to conduct forensic interviews with 40 Livermore victims and provide on-site and follow-up support services to approximately 30 caregivers (in FY 13k-14). We will facilitate a multi-disciplinary team to respond to child abuse allegations that will involve the Livermore Police Department (LPD), child protective services, the District Attorney’s Office, Children’s or Highland Hospital, mental health service providers and other partners as needed to ensure the safety, health and well-being or each child and his/her family. | $7,500 |

AXIS Community Health Systems New Autoclaves for Equipment Sterilization in Medical ClinicsThe purpose of this grant is to purchase two new autoclaves to replace the current ones that have been in use for over ten years. Axis is the sole provider of preventive and primary medical services for low-income and uninsured families in the Tri-Valley and primary medical services for low-income and uninsured families in the Tri-Valley.
